Ubuntu ku- blom bisa sinkron sama Ethernet NIC 3C509B-TPO

Walah, sampai jam 9:20 PM, ane blom kelar juga mikirin cara supaya U buntu aye bisa jalan.

I have the same card. The correct module is not loaded by hotplug.

In a terminal try:
sudo modprobe 3c509

If you can then use your ethernet card, add the word "3c509" at the end of the list in

/etc/modules. That loads the module on boot...

sudo gedit /etc/modules


There is a bug report about this and I cannot remember the reason why it cannot be fixed....



sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

Check and reset your NIC values to default and DISABLE PNP on 3com NIC using the 3Com

Then try to load by command line the 3c509 kernel module with the appropriate parameter
modprobe 3c509 io=0x300 irq=0x10

Then add the module name put a new row at the end of the /etc/modules file, and type:
3c509

then edit the /etc/modprobe.d/options and add
options 3c509 io=0x300 irq=0x10

then reboot your pc.
